Plenty of glazed pottery awaits as Stockholms Auktionsverk Magasin 5 now presents "A Collection of 20th Century Ceramics"! In a theme comprising just under 100 lots, there is a multitude of vases, quite a few bowls, and plenty more primarily from the most renowned Swedish firms. The collection begins with a particularly fine Art Nouveau vase, created in 1901 at the Gustafsberg factories. From there, we can trace the development of Swedish ceramics and even pause at some of the smallest workshops in the country. A couple of round candies by Einar Lutherkort in fiery red are worth a closer look, as are the floor vases from Nittsjö - behold 4 shades of yellow - and the whimsical lidded jars from Upsala-Ekeby. Plus everything else, of course.
