In order to be able to request compensation for items damaged during transport, you must:
If you are collecting from one of our own collection points
• In connection with collection at the site, notify staff at the delivery point.
• Document (photograph) the damage. Items that are "taken home" without notifying the delivery point and without being documented will not be able to be compensated.
• Contact us in writing to open a transport claim.
If you have chosen parcel delivery as a shipping alternative
• Report the transport damage and document (photograph) the damage, package (including shipping label) and packing materials within 24 hours or no later than the next working day after receipt for us to handle the transport claim.
• Contact us in writing to open a transport claim.
If your transport is a into the home delivery
• Report any damage directly to the carrier at the time of delivery
• Document the damage carefully by taking photos. Make sure the damage is noted on the delivery document before signing. If the damage is significant and you do not wish to accept the item, please refuse the delivery
• Contact us in writing to file a transport claim.
Remember to differentiate between whether the damage to the goods occurred during transport or whether it is a complaint / withdrawal of purchase.
