each with a fluted frieze above carved swag and ribbon detail, central Sheraton style batswing medallion and flowerhead detail, enclosing two removeble shelves, one with original metal lining, height 93cm, width 48cm, depth 48cm.

Condition

One with original metal lining, the other with it removed. Splits to both including to top and one door, large repaired split to one, minor losses to veneer, sections of moulding missing.

Autumn Fine Art Sale

Lawrences Auctioneers present their Autumn Fine Art Sale. The auction includes a fine art, period furniture and collectables.

The sale is led by English silver spanning the Georgian through the Edwardian periods. Among the highlights are a George I silver marrow scoop by William Toone and a George II Hanoverian pattern silver soup ladle by Ebenezer Coker.

The Asian art section includes porcelain an early Thai Sawankhalok ware bottle, along with a collection of snuff bottles and ceramics including chargers.

The auction also features a selection of jewellery and watches, including diamond solitaire rings, period brooches set with sapphires and rubies. Modern wristwatches are on offer alongside 18th and 19th century gold and silver pocket watches.
