Crowned with royal crown, crossed laurel twig and palm leaves, frame in the form of fasces bundle, light arms in brass, faceted and mercury-foiled original glass, numbered in pencil Nr. 2 and Nr. 3, 75 x 50 cm

Mirror maker and trader Joseph Schürer d.y. (1727-1785), came to Stockholm from Bohemia in 1749 and became aide-de-camp to his father Joseph Schürer d.ä. (1698—1770). Together these became associates in 1760 and on 25 May 1769 Schürer received d.y. Kungl. May's privileges and permission to assume the rights and mirror factory of the ornamental sculptor Jean Caspar Callion.
