
An Egypt Medal 1882-89 with undated reverse and Suakin 1885 clasp, named to 510 Pte W. Sinnott N.S.W. Infy. This was the first occasion on which Australian units were sent overseas to fight alongside Imperial troops, 16 officers and 517 men served with the New South Wales Infantry between 1st March and 14th May 1885, the period for which the clasp was awarded.
Ribbon replaces, cleaned. Name possibly corrected to remove E at end of recipient's name.
