Description

An unusual Saxon Ulan helmet in thick grey felt body, large brass and nickel helmet plate with crest within a wreath and crown border mounted on a many pointed star, with a brown leather chin strap with painted Reichs cockade to one side and large green and white felt cocakade mounted to the flat-top. Internally with a worn brown leather liner, the remains of the issue stamp visible to the peak. 18cm tall, 23cm front to back.

Condition

Slight moth marks, slight differences in colour across the felt and slightly out of shape ... but a fine example/.
