"Johan Morén was a supervisor at Uppsala hospital and photographed Gustaf Fröding at Ulleråker, where he was admitted, in 1903 on behalf of the doctor Herman Lundborg. Several different variants in profile and en face were performed. Around 1916, Henry B. Goodwin processed Morén's negatives on behalf of chief physician Frey Svensson, when he needed a photo of Fröding for a book. --- Morén's photographs were also used by Richard Bergh for his painted portrait of Fröding #1909---".
