Bauer, John, Tenggren, Gustaf, Norelius, Einar et al. , illustrators. Among elves and trolls year 1-112. Åhlén & Åkerlund publishing house, later SEMIC, 1907-2919. Something as rare as a complete suite of Among Elves and Goblins from the first vintage in 1907 through 2019. With very few exceptions the hardcover deluxe editions, some with the unusual dust jackets and the vast majority in very good condition.
Among gnomes and trolls is a collection of fairy tales founded by newspaperman Erik Åkerlund, who in 1906 founded Åhlén & Åkerlunds Förlag AB. The book has been published annually at Christmas time since 1907. The first volumes had illustrations by first John Bauer and then Gustaf Tenggren. 1927–1980 it was Einar Norelius who illustrated, and after him among others Hans Arnold for several years. Among the many authors, Hjalmar Bergman, Margareta Ekström, Gösta Knutsson, Severin Schiöler and Edith Unnerstad stand out. By taking themes from folktales, the authors wanted to write for all of society's children, which was a new direction for children's literature in Sweden. Source Wikipedia.
Some with sunny covers, some with stains (not hard) in the insert, a stapled de luxe issue with a loose inner fold. Several with the owner's name and some with a deed of gift. Overall good quality.
