Les observations de plusieurs singularitez et choses memorables, trouvées en Grece, Asie, Judée, Egypte, Arabie et autres pays estranges I-III. 3 parts in 1 vol. Chex Guillaume Cavellat, Paris, 1555. Fourth edition. First came in 1553. 4:oi a soft contemporary parchment binding with tie. (XI), 211 leaves, (I) + folding woodcut map. Illustrated with 44 woodcuts in the text with a portrait of the author and with e.g. a. some snakes which are probably depicted here for the first time in history.

Condition
The band very badly stained and loose in the inner folds. Note: The first three leaves are in facsimile and one leaf in the introduction is missing. The folding map of Mount Sinaii with a tear in the folds. Some layer stains but mostly a fresh insert.
