VIII, 141 p. , (V) + 7 hand-colored plates on turtles and lizards, 3 of which are fold-out. A couple of other herpetological treatises are also included in this volume: Ueber das Ei der Vägel und reptilien von FJ C. Mayer. Mit vier Tafeln. The panels are colored. In addition, Ein zweifelhafter Triton und eine ausgeschnitte Varietät von Euprepia Villica von Ludwig Reichenbach. Mit einer Tafel. Colored board.

The tape with the spine title Nova Acta 32:I in good condition. The panels for Prinz Maximilian's work layer stained and browned. One of the folding panels is separated vertically. The second and third work with some text pages heavily stained. The boards are in good condition.
