Measures approx. 30 cm. x 20 cm. and comprises 13 lines which are a scene description of the Rosenkammaren in Act III. "A room with pink walls: small windows with iron bars and flowerpots (crossed out) potted plants. The curtains pink - red: the furniture; pink and white." etc...
According to a note on an accompanying cardboard disc, this is a "Strindberg manuscript from the Lunda period given to H. E. (Erkandsson) Dr. Herman Wallengren. " Till Damascus is a play by August Strindberg in three parts, the first published in 1898 and the last in 1904. The drama can be counted among Strindberg's so-called traveling dramas. In 1897, August Strindberg spent a lot of time in Lund.
Manuscript brown toned and folded with closed tears in a few weeks but loss. The text is clear and concise.
