Entirely in Japanese except for a chapter in English at the end called "Kawabata's Writings and The Problem of Translation" (7 pp.) by his translator Edward G. Seidensticker. The book has 413 pages. , (III). At the front, a bound leaf on Japanese paper beautifully dated by Kawabata in ink in calligraphic style: "12 Dec. 1968 in Stockholm" (when he received the Nobel Prize). Signed with his name in both Japanese and Latin styles. Stored in a cassette decorated in green and yellow.
