Description

Art Nouveau standing ashtray, worked as a centrifugal ashtray. And executed with surrounding putti decoration in relief. If you press the Bakelite handle down, the ash is transported inside by rotating the metal disc. The ashtray is attached to a grooved handle, which at the bottom merges into a large, slightly curved, round base disc with a weight, which has the same putti reliefs on the edge as above.
If you remove the centrifugal insert, you can see the well-known Erhard & Söhne Schwäbisch Gmünd brand.
Height 68 cm, diameter 12 cm. Very rare in this version.

Condition

Overall good condition, with some age-related signs of wear.
