To include a 19th Century mahogany side chair in the Chippendale style having a gadrooned cresting rail above pierced back with scroll and acanthus cresting, above a pierced interlaced splat flanked by moulded uprights, the drop-in seat upholstered in floral needlework, raised on cabriole front legs with carved knees and claw-and-ball feet, 97cm high 56cm wide, together with a George III mahogany dining chair having a wavy cresting rail above pierced vase-shaped splat flanked by shaped uprights and a scroll-carved cresting rail, over a drop-in seat upholstered with a floral needlepoint panel depicting a bird amid foliage, raised on square front legs united by stretchers, 99cm high 53cm wide. Condition
George III examples cresting rail is possibly later, cracks and filler to the legs, good colour, otherwise surface scratches and wear.
