8:o. 165 x 115 mm. Contemporary semi-French bands with 5 raised volumes, band numbering and titles in gold on the backs, splash-marbled binders, splashed cuts. 9 volumes.

Provenance: Karl Joar Westman (1939-2022) was a lawyer and banker, also a business owner in India and Sri Lanka. He was a devoted collector of antiques, painting, sculpture, arts and crafts and not least books. K. J. Westman followed all book auctions from the time of his studies and often visited countless antiquaries. The travelogues of older times particularly interested him, but he was also fascinated by the book craft itself and therefore had many beautiful tapes in his collection. He was the son of the State Councilor and Professor K. G. Westman and his wife Margit, née Printz.

Condition

Slightly worn bands, inlays with single spots, some slightly larger, volumes 1, 2, 5, 6 and 8 with clips in the cover sheets.
