Description
Bronze, patinated in shades of brown. Conical body with folded shoulder and widened funnel on a high, set foot. All with stylized relief decoration, masks of the mythical creature Taotie, banana leaf and bird patterns.
H x Dm. cca 38 x 28 cm, weight: approx. 9.9 kg
Provenance: From the extended estate of a family of manufacturers originally based in the eastern part of Germany and co-shareholders of the textile company “Bessler & Schulenburg”, with business contacts in Europe, North and South America as well as in Asia, attributed and family-owned for over a hundred years.

Signs of age and use. A small restoration at the foot.
