The second edition was then published in 38 volumes (of which part of 34 and 35-38 are supplementary volumes) 1903-1926 and is usually called the Owl Edition because the decoration on the book spine of one of the binding variants was decorated with an owl. It contains approximately 182,000 search terms and is usually considered to be Sweden's most complete book-bound encyclopedia. An awful lot of concepts are treated there, which are completely or partially overlooked in later published encyclopedias.
