Contemporary parchment ribbon (200 x 155 mm) with handwritten title on the back, Joh. Lundall's signature on the inside of the front cover.

Provenance: Karl Joar Westman (1939-2022) was a lawyer and banker, also a business owner in India and Sri Lanka. He was a devoted collector of antiques, painting, sculpture, arts and crafts and not least books. K. J. Westman followed all book auctions from the time of his studies and often visited countless antiquaries. The travelogues of older times particularly interested him, but he was also fascinated by the book craft itself and therefore had many beautiful tapes in his collection. He was the son of the State Councilor and Professor K. G. Westman and his wife Margit, née Printz.

Condition

Slightly worn and slightly soiled tape with a few stains, the second work's inlay with consistent moisture stains.
