Contemporary uniform all-leather bands with five raised bindings and richly gold ornate backs, gold band numbering and titles on the backs, red title fields, red incisions, marbled front and post leaves. 3 volumes.
Provenance: Karl Joar Westman (1939-2022) was a lawyer and banker, also a business owner in India and Sri Lanka. He was a devoted collector of antiques, painting, sculpture, arts and crafts and not least books. K. J. Westman followed all book auctions from the time of his studies and often visited countless antiquaries. The travelogues of older times particularly interested him, but he was also fascinated by the book craft itself and therefore had many beautiful tapes in his collection. He was the son of the State Councilor and Professor K. G. Westman and his wife Margit, née Printz.
Worn bands, front and trailing leaves are missing in the first part. submissions with a few occasional small spots, some more blotches on the preliminary leaves in part three.
