Description

18K gold case with a diameter of 59 mm. White inner dial with Arabic numerals. Signed and numbered “Breguet No. 16624".
Manual wrench rope movement (included). Cylinder exhaust mechanism.
Outer needle aligned with embossed time stamps to allow the time to be read by touch without opening the box. Mechanism designed by Breguet, also known as a “watch for the blind”.
Similar pieces in the Collegium Maius Museum of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow, no. Inv. 1721; 1434/V.
Chain and string wrench in gold-plated metal.
Total weight: 147.1 gr.

Condition

One of the hinges connecting the lid to the box is slightly loose.
Working properly at the time of cataloguing, with the exception of the touch/swivel function for the blind, which is not operational and requires revision. No other warranty is offered.
