Among gnomes and goblins. An almost unique collection of Among Santas and Trolls from the first vintage 1907 and so on. 50 1957.. Missing are only the 20, 25',33 and 48 vintages that appeared in 1927, 1932, 1940 and 1955. The collection consists of 46 volumes of volumes in classical quadratic 8vo-fomet. Most of them belong to the so-called splendor edition, which for the most part came out hardcover in claw backs. A number of relatively early ones also have protective covers, which is very rare.
Among gnomes and goblins, fame immediately won thanks to the ingenious illustrations of John Bauer. After a while, they were illustrated by the ingenious Gustaf Tenggren, who then became a Disney cartoonist in Hollywood. One who illustrated long afterwards was Einar Norelius and in modern times Hans Arnold.
