Description
A superior oval cut glass and silver topped dressing table vanity box of nice proportions, stands 11cm long and 3cm high.
The glass is cut in the hobnail design around the body and the silver top, which fits nicely, is beautifully embossed with flora design.
Hallmarks are visible on the lid for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1904 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.
The maker's mark is also visible for the silver maker: Crisford & Norris Ltd.
