Engraving by Boëtius Adamsz Bolswert (Flemish, c.1580–1633), dated 1638. Published by the workshop of Bolswert. With the inscription: "P.P. Rubens pinxit", "Sculpsit a Bolswert 1638", and Latin publisher’s privilege to the King of France and the States of Holland and Belgium, housed within a wooden and glazed frame 60cm by 47cm including frame 43cm by 30cm image size.

Condition

oning to paper consistent with age; a few areas of marginal spotting and light surface wear; not examined out of frame.
