Till that feast, with the memory of Pehr Dan. I have. Atterbom will be celebrated by the Upsala student corps at Carolina redivivas sollennitetssal on May 9, 1856 at pm. 11 B.C.E., the benefactors and friends of the sciences and the arts are respectfully invited on behalf of the student corps by its direction. Uppsala, at C. A. Leffler, 1856.
Foil. 440 x 270 mm. (4) pp. In splash-decorated later cardboard ribbon with label made of green leather. Slightly bearing speckled at the edges, some minor, partially repaired rips.
The memorial speech was held by Bernhard Elis Malmström, who in 1842 graduated from Atterbom.
Provenance: Clas Ifvarsson (1941-2012), CEO and CEO of Stockholm Stadshus AB. Former CEO of a couple of companies within the City of Stockholm and for a period active in municipal politics. His impressive collection of books consisted mostly of Swedish literature from the 17th to the 19th century, but also many other important works with an emphasis on Sweden. Ifvarsson was very interested in cultural history and also a dedicated and knowledgeable collector, which was reflected in his extensive library.
