“A colorful flaneur with an eye for bicycles is the artist Berndt Wennström... He lives on Söder in Stockholm, and it is the streets and parks of Södermalm he depicts, filled with people in motion. Small town atmosphere in blue and light grey, or bright red, or loose yellow. The special moments of everyday life, which he constantly goes in search of and tries to recreate with varying shades of color.”
— Ann-Charlotte Sandelin, Kultursidan.nu, review of exhibition at Galleri Sander, Norrköping 2011.
