Garden. Ahlich, Johann, German-Swedish gardener, (1680-1743) & Brehmer, Sven. Johan Ahlich's Trägårds-skiötsel; that is, a thorough account of the garden farm, or an improved Swedish flower, kitchen and wood farm in four books edited, and with Sven Brehmer's appendage added, concerning the work of a master gardener: giöromål hwarje every month throughout the year; and his consort. May's most gracious privilege granted, warder now til the common good the second time unmolested on his own confession. Printed at Lor. IUD. Grefing, Stockholm, year 1744. 8vo in an older half-French band with gilded back text, sparse gilt back decor and marbled binders and green-splashed cuts. Illustrated with 2 engraved plates. Condition
The band is a bit edgy, but a well cohesive band. Title sheet renovated in outer margin .Plaintiff with some older library stamps. Bit by bit stepped cut at the top. Paste uniformly slightly toned.Some layer stains, but not hard.
