Description

BRICK, ERIK JÖRANSSON. The history of King Eric XIV, which recounts these meritorious acts, but in particular the wars waged against the then warring enemies of the Sweriges, was compiled by the future governor and councilor of the chamber Eric Jöransson Tegel, to Hufdestad, Ericsstad and Grundwik, but now only in this handwriting in general print, left notes and a complete register, edited by Anders Anton von Stiernman. Stockholm, at Lorentz Ludw. Grefing, 1751.
4:o. 223 x 180 mm. (36), 336, (52) s, 1 foldable engraved portrait plate. (1 plate missing) Later half-French ribbon with raised bindings and back label and marbled binders. Johann Mörk's signature on the title page. Kristoffer Enckell's exlibris.

Condition

Slightly worn band with pale back. The plan with repairs, reinforcements and folds. Inlay with spots here and there and partly sunny margins.
