HISTORIAN:
Ragnhild Nordensten was a Swedish painter, cartoonist and graphic artist.
She was educated at the Technical School in 1907, the Althins School of Painting in 1908, and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1908-12 in Stockholm.
Ragnhild mainly depicted heavy industries from Bergslag environments. Nordensten also became known for his etchings of the larger format such as the suite from Sandviken ironworks and the symbolist triptych “Tiden” from 1911.
