Second part in a leather strap with gilt back text and gilt back decor. First part with an engraved vignette on the title page. (XXIV), 830 pp. + (II), 486 pp. , (CXXVI).
This is the first full release of “Heimskringla”. It is published by Johan Peringskiöld with both the text of the original and in Latin and Swedish translations.

The band for the first part severely worn with losses at the top and bottom of the back and at the edges of the binder. Front binder almost loose. Chafed and stained. The submission lacks p. 215'/216. Inlay stained and with so-called offsetting, i.e. imprints from opposite sides. Passage with water stain in the upper outer side corners. Last leaf torn off in the outer part and repaired with text losses. Second part band chafed and edge worn but well held together. Exlibris and signature on the inside of the front cover. Inlay with slightly blotched margins. The last leaves water-blotched at the upper and lower margins.
