bronze, patinated. Leaf-shaped blade, the flat handle with rabbit patterns, ends in an embossed shape with a knob in the shape of two animal heads with spiral decoration.

PROVENANCE: From the extended estate of Hans Johann Leonhard Urban (1906—2003), who worked from 1939 to 1945 as a dyeing technician and later as technical manager at the “Deutsche Farbenhandelsgesellschaft Waibel & Co.” (Defag) in Shanghai, Tientsin and Tsingtau, China. Purchased as a farewell gift ca. 1945 in Tsingtau, Shandong province, China.
