Modern Art and Sculptures

Bishop & Miller presents a collection of modern art and sculpture, featuring 20th century and contemporary works by British and international artists. The sale includes a range of watercolours, oils and mixed media works, including landscapes, industrial scenes and figurative subjects.

Highlights include multiple works by Maurice Barnes, Horace Mann Livens's Railway Station and Sir Anthony Baruh Lousada’s Docks. The auction also features pieces by Hervey Cadwallader Adams, Robert Sargent Austin, Juliet Pannett's portrait of Barnes Wallis and Duncan Grant's study of Vanessa Bell.

Contemporary pieces include Boo Compton’s Undone in Blue and Gareth Tristan Evans’s Urban Geisha series. Robert Sadler's figurative studies and Paul Nash’s Epwell Mill are also featured.
