Description
Stig Claesson, SLAS, Swedish writer and artist, (1928-2008). Two framed chalk drawings measuring ca. 53 cm. 63 cm and approx. 42 cm. x 53.5 cm in the frame. One depicts a couple holding hands with a cartoon façade as a background and the other depicts a boy and a butterfly. Both are unsigned. These are images that SLAS produced, among others. a. ate animator Bryan Foster for a film they intended to make together. On the back is mounted a copy of the small film synopsis that SLAS wrote, among others. a. to Bryan Foster. SLAS talks about his thoughts on the film and concludes with: Try to bring the old man to life and the other will live by itself. Bryan is the film animator Bryan Foster, while we don't know who Jerry is. The film never came to be shot.
