Twelve yearlings of the charming Das Buch der Welt, ein Inincluriff des Wissenswürdigsten und Unterhaltendsten aus den Gebieten der Naturgeschichte, Naturlehre, Länder- und Völkerkunde, Weltgeschichte, Götterlehre etc.With coloured lithographs and steel engravings. Hoffman'sche Verlags-Buchhandlung Stuttgart, 1843,1844, 1845 and 1846, and 1855, 1856 and 1857, and 1861, 1862, 1863, 1864 and 1865. Twelve volumes in mostly contemporary but quite different tape execution from hemispherical tapes to half-French tapes of the time. Illustrated with 45-50 had-coloured lithographs and black and white steel sticks. Uncollated.

Condition

The bands worn, chafed and stained. a part with a loose back and loose binders. The inlays stock-blotched and sunny and several pages with older marginal layering. Many planks brown-tinted and/or blotchy Some leaves loose and torn.
