Published by Treuttel & Würtz. Paris/Strasbourg, 1803. Two 8vo volumes in contemporary dark red semi-French bands with gilt back text and gilt back decor and blue binders. Illustrated with two copper-stuccoed engravings, one in each volume as frontespis Frontespis, (IV), 326 pp. + Frontespis, (IV), 299 pp. , (I).
Posthumously issued by the widow. Also contains a long preface about the author of F. E. Toulongeon.

Condition

Ribbons edged and with frayed binders, but well cohesive bands. Mostly clean and fresh submissions with just some occasional stain.
