HOMANN, JOHANN BAPTIST. , Atlas Minor Ex XVIII. Tabulis Geographicis Ad Mentem Hübneri Atque Schatzii/Kleiner Atlas von achtzehen der Allgemeinsten Land-Charten.., Nuremberg, ca 1730-40.

Engraved title, printed title with index, 18 hand colored engraved maps (complete). Approx 480x545 mm., Approx. 530x312 mm. (the band).
Contemporary soft leather strap, blind pressed title on front cover. Signature, among others, Johan Aug. Zetterberg 1823, several maps fed on paper with “writing exercises” by the same Zetterberg.
Including world map, Europe, Asia, Africa, America, Poland, Danube, Palestine.

Provenance: Johan August “Janne” Zetterberg (also called Lidingökung), born 24 October 1810 in Maria Magdalena parish in Stockholm, died 4 April 1878 at Hersby gård on Lidingö, was a Swedish MP, property owner and landowner (Wikipedia), subsequently inherited within the family.

Condition

All maps with corrections, including in the middle folds and margins. Germany with some loss. Ink stains and other stains, Scandinavia more. Some with underscores. Title page tarnished.
Band worn, some repairs.
