M/S Kong Olav (call sign LJRW) was a passenger and fast route ship, delivered to Det Stavangerske Dampskibsselskap (DSD) in April 1964 from Bergen Mekaniske Verksted shipyard, Bergen in Norway with build number 433, at a cost of NOK 16.5 million. The ship was used for 33 years on the Hurtigruten route between Bergen and Kirkenes in Norway, from 1964 to 1997. The construction and scrapping of the Kong Olav began in Thailand in August 2018.
