Description

One oval cabochon cut sapphire in each cufflink. Each sapphires approx. 5.95ct and exhibits a six rayed star, measuring approx. 10 x 7.7mm. Asterism is also known as the 'star' phenomenon.
Unmarked yellow metal mounted. Chain fittings with a blank rectangular toggle clasp. Gross weight 9.3g. Complete with cufflink box.

Condition

The mounts have general surface wear, some deeper scratches. There is a repair join on one toggle by the chain area.
The sapphires are secure in the settings. One sapphire has a natural inclusion which has surfaced, characteristic of the stone.
