"We, Paulus Marusci, Archbishop of Calcis, by the grace of God and of the Holy Apostolic See, entrusted with the exercise of the pontifical functions in the venerable Church of St. Blaise and St. Gregory the Illuminator in the city of Rome, with the special attention and faculty granted to us by His Holiness Gregory XVI, we hereby declare with all certainty and bear witness that we have granted and delivered as a gift the sacred relics of the martyrs and confessors listed below, taken from authentic places, to the greater glory of Almighty God, for public veneration in the church, oratory or chapel" (free translation from Latin).
The handwritten part details the specific relics granted, including those of St Albert and other holy martyrs and confessors. In addition, the document is authenticated with sealing wax and appropriate signatures.
