The books are dedicated to Gunnar Norlander, the director of the Folkhögskolan: “Gunnar Norlander 1863 (Resp. 1868) Af Författaren” in both volumes. With a 'pair of name stamps by Gunnar Norlander on the cover sheets. In addition, with the signature of a later relative of the 'author, also Gunnar Hyltén-Cavallius.
Gunnar Olof Hyltén-Cavallius has sometimes been called the father of Swedish ethnology.
Condition
The bands are chafed and slightly tarnished, but well cohesive. Name stamps initially.Some stains here and there, but more of a temporary nature. Some place with pencil notes.
