Knöppel, Arvid, Swedish artist, (1892-1970). Yell buck. Albert Bonniers Publishing House, Stockholm, 1941. 4th in a well-tied brown half-morocco pendant with gilt back text and sparse embellished back decor as well as marbled binders and ivory gold cut. Front cover tied together. B undet at Bonnier's Bookbinder, possibly William Barkell. This copy is one of the 200 numbered copies of the bibliophile edition with two original lithographs by Arvid Knöppel, one of which is signed in pencil and dated 1941. This copy is not numbered, but with a dedication on the half-title page: “Vännen Sven Barthel från Knöppel”. Otherwise very richly illustrated with animal sketches. 283 pp.,, (II).

Condition

The band with spotted back and ¨spotted corners, but a well cohesive band. Submission with very mildly toned margins.
