With important textual contributions by a range of authors: Kurt Aram, P. Braun, E. v. Bodman, H. Esswein, Franz Hessel, Heinrich Lautensack, R. Piper, Rainer Maria Rilke, R. Schaukal, Oscar A. H. Schmitz, W. von Scholz, M. Susman, E.R. Weiss et al. Raine Maria Rilke's five contributions are published here for the first time: Von den Fontäen, Karl der zwölfte von Schweden reitet in der Ukraine, Fragmente aus verlorenen Tagen, Am Rande der Nacht, Der Wahnsinn und Der Tod ist groß. 71 leaves, 11 woodcuts and 2 lithographs.
