Gierow, Karl Ragnar, Swedish writer etc., (1904-1982). A white A4 sheet of paper with a typewritten and hand-signed poem comprising three stanzas entitled "Grenade Thrower Love Letter. On a dressy tune." Dedicated at the bottom in black ink ...with cordial regards 1-6-24 Gierow." As far as known never published.
Sold together with a special print from Litteraturbanken 2018 entitled “Karl Ragnar Gierow. Originality is a property” with text by Tom Hedlund. It is a biography of Ragnar Gierow. Stapled high 8vo with the cover captioned in red and black. 24 pp.
Karl Ragnar Gierow was a member of the Swedish Academy from 1961 and its permanent secretary from 1964-1977.
