Description
PROVENANCE: The microscope has belonged to chief physician and hospital director Paul Häggström (1888-1934), at Löwenströmska Lasarettet.
"Häggström became a medical candidate at Uppsala University in 1912, a medical licentiate in 1917, a doctor of medicine in 1918, a docent in obstetrics and gynecology in 1922, in surgery in 1927, was an assistant surgeon in Uppsala in 1922 and 1924–27 and became a hospital doctor at the Löwenström hospital in 1928. He published works in histology, obstetrics and gynecology, and surgery." Case size approx. 35x18x21 cm.
