Hand-coloured engraved map with figurative cartouche. Spanish text on verso with page number 49. Engraved by F. Hogenberg. C. 375 x 435 mm. Shows the Hassia region extending from the Werra River through to the Rhine River including Frankfurt am Main. The Holsatiae map shows many fortified cities including Hamburg, Lauenburg, Lubeck, Schleswig, Tinder and Flensburg. This map was based on the work of Marcus Jordanus Van den Broecke # 94.1.(and) 92.
Mansfeldiae - some tears and soiling to margins, lacking small part of corner.
