Frederick IV (Danish: Frederik 4.), born 11 October 1671 in Copenhagen, died 12 October 1730 in Odense, was king of Denmark and Norway 1699–1730. He was the son of Christian V and his wife Charlotta Amalia of Hesse-Kassel and cousin of Charles XII of Sweden and his sisters Hedvig Sofia and Ulrika Eleonora respectively. (Wikipedia).
