the pair of Meissen butter boats with painted insect and butterfly decoration and applied flowers throughout, gilt highlights and shaped handle, printed marks to base, 15.5cm long, together with a Derby example similarly decorated, 13cm long (3).

Condition

Meissen examples with chips and losses to flowers and leaves, one with a large piece missing to spout and the other with a large piece missing to inner rim.
Derby example with handle broken and crudely re-stuck, losses to flowers and leaves and the lid is not the correct size.
