Two 12:o volumes in green full leather bindings with gilt spine text and gilt spine decoration as well as marbled cuts and endpapers. With Izaak Walton's resp. Charles Cotton's engraved portrait as frontispiece in each volume. Illustrated with a large number of woodcuts in the text. 229 p. , (IV) + 264 p.
A reprint of the Wittingham/Tegg - 1824 edition, which in turn was a reprint of the 1797 John Hawkins edition.
Provenance: Gunnar Brusewitz copy with his bookplate on the inside of the front cover.

Condition

The bands a little edge rubbed and stained, but well held together. Front pages slightly stained, otherwise fresh inserts.
