Bellman, Carl Michael, Swedish poet and singer, (1740-1795). Bacchi Temple opened on the death of a Hielte. Printed in Kongl. Printing house, Stockholm, 1783. First edition. 8vo in a brown marbled full leather binding with rich gilt spine decoration and marbled cuts. Illustrated with 9 pasted engraved vignettes and engraved music.. The vignettes were engraved by J. F. Martin after his brother Elias Martin's models. (II), 124 p.

Condition

Band slightly stained and slightly rubbed. A slightly larger stain at the top of the front cover. Stains occur in the insert but mostly light and not particularly disturbing.
