Description
Height approx. 10, largest width 19 cm Jan Eric Sjöberg was for four decades curator at the Gothenburg City Museum with archeology as his main area of expertise. During this time he produced several important exhibitions on the subject. He was also active outside the kingdom's borders, including as a scientific photographer at Gustaf VI Adolf's excavations in Aqua Rossa. For his efforts in the field of archaeology, he was awarded in 2006 with the Vitterhetsakademin's antiquarian medal in silver.
