Alf Kjellin (1920-1988). For many years Kjellin lived and worked in the US film industry. Victor Sjöström (1879-1960). Along with Mauritz Stiller, Sjöström became the leading figure of the Swedish silent film. Among his many famous films are the Selma Lagerlöf adaptations Ingmarssönerna (1919) and Körkarlen (1921).
